Once your symptoms have been diagnosed, your specific treatment can begin immediately. Many patients are amazed at the relief they feel after their very first appointment. Therapy sessions last about 50 minutes and include the use of several FDA-cleared technologies developed by TruDenta®.

Treatment is painless and non-invasive -- no needles
or drugs are involved. Depending upon the severity
of the diagnosis, patients require from one to twelve treatments, completed weekly. This means that a patient with even the most severe symptoms can achieve lasting relief in just three months.

The process and technology is a groundbreaking advancement in the treatment of headaches, migraines, TMJ/D and many other painful dysfunctions of the head and neck.

Treatment options may include the following:

ULTRASOUND

The goal of therapeutic ultrasound treatment is to return circulation to sore, strained muscles through increased blood flow and heat, and to use sounds waves to break up scar tissue and deep adhesions.

Therapeutic exposure to ultrasound reduces trigger point sensitivity and has been indicated as a useful clinical tool for managing myofascial pain and has been shown to evoke pain-inhibiting effects on trigger points.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

The existence of active and latent trigger points can be painful and restrictive, as well as interfering with the normal functioning of the jaw and neck.

The TruDenta® progressive physical therapy process treats these symptoms through gentle stimulation of the musculature, reducing muscle tension and clearing the way for further rehabilitation.

ELECTROCURRENT

Microcurrent therapy applies a painless low-level electrical current to areas of pain or sensitivity, which reduces the spasms of inflamed muscles, stimulates the nerves, and reduces lactic acid build up.

It is particularly effective in restoring normal range of motion to patients whose dental imbalances include restricted jaw movement.

LOW-LEVEL LASER

To promote healing of the chronic inflammation and pain caused by long-term dental imbalances, part of the TruDenta® therapy system uses low-level cold laser therapy.

The painless treatment is shown to decrease pain, accelerate healing of muscle and joint tissue, as well as improve range of motion.
